HVAC Apprentice and Journeyman

A & B Mechanical has been an industry leader since 1989. Providing heating, air conditioning, plumbing and indoor air quality products and services to our customers in Winnipeg and the surrounding areas.

We are currently hiring for multiple roles, from first year apprentices up to Journeyman plumbers for various project sites.

Job Duties:

• Install, repair and maintain equipment used for air distribution and in residential and commercial buildings
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems
• Install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial HVAC fixtures and systems
• Climb ladders / working at heights
• Work outside in all weather
• Work in mechanical rooms
• Use various power tools, lifting, general labour duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license
• Motivation to complete tasks in a timely manner
• Ability to follow instruction
• Gas fitting experience and B Gas ticket an asset
• Mechanical aptitude, diagnostic instincts
• Ability to work with others or independently on assigned tasks
• Professionalism, excellent time management and communication skills
